Are We Ready For Some Football??

WOW!! It is finally that time of year. In two weeks it will be the start of college football and in 3 weeks the Pros start .

It will be very interesting with all the re-alignment of college football conferences. Will my team (Nebraska) be able to handle the power game of teams in the Big Ten? How will Colorado do in the Pac 10? What will happen with Texas A&M and the SEC? The Big 12 and SEC are going to get together and talk about merging. This really is all about money. The Big Ten and Pac Ten get more money than the SEC.

Let's take a look at some key games in the month of September. We have a Sept 1st game, UNLV at Wisconsin but kind of feel sorry for the Rebels even though I'm a fan. On Sept 3, we have LSU at Oregon who scores about 50 points a game at home. Then on Sept 17, Oklahoma travels to Florida St and Texas goes to UCLA. Wow!! What a couple of great games. Then to close out the month we have Oklahoma St at Texas A&M on Sept 24th.

The Pros are also going to be very exciting. How will Sam Bradford play for the Rams now that he'll have some receiver's to throw to? Will Green Bay stay hot and pick up where they left off? Will Tony Romo and the Cowboys finally play up to their potential. The first week starts off with New Orleans at Green Bay and ends with the Raider's at Denver. I think more teams have a legitimate chance of getting to the Super Bowl.

Any thoughts? Who do you think is gonna take it all?
